Vehicular telematics over WiFi and WiMax multihop networks

Objective: Development of an Advanced Vehicular Communication Platform (AVCP) and accompanying technologies to support Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)

  • Developing protocols to support efficient and reliable communication with quality-of-service (QoS) guarantee
  • Developing advanced security protocols to protect user privacy over AVCP
  • Addressing network heterogeneity in the unlicensed frequency bands
  • Identifying and evaluation of applications and benefits of AVCP for ITS
